Summer, summer, summer! It's just awesome. 8 days with 25 degrees and more. The sun is still shining but it got a little colder. Today I have lots of pictures and I just write comments below them.
I took this picture 10:30 pm. It's still very bright.
The last week we often drove to Kruseter. It's a swim and grill place outside the town. The lake was surprisingly very warm. (Anders, Kristoffer, Adrian, Daniel, Karolina, Maria, Oda and Katrine)
Hmm.. What are we thinking about.. (Anne Marit, Emely)
Woohoo! Eirik got the driving license. The last few days we drove quite often. Yesterday they kidnapped me. Knut and Eirik called me and told me I have to go out of my house and sit in the car. I asked them whats going on, but they just turned the music really loud. Eirik drove me down to the harbour and then they tried to throw me in the sea. Fortunately they stopped a little bit before they really did it. On the picture are we in Sarpsborg eating McDonald's food.
On Saturday I had to do some volunary work for the volleyball club. It was a big bike race in Halden. We were the first people who the participants met after they reached the goal. We gave them a bottle of water and took away the chip for measuring the time. The participants could choose between a 70 km or a 130 km distance. We should work from 10 am til 4 pm but fortunately we could leave 2:30 pm.
I was really surprised when I saw a racer with a Swiss dress. I asked him, but he wasn't from Switzerland and he was to exhausted to explain something.
After volunary work I drove with Anne Marit and Emely to Koster. All the others were already there. The weather was fantastic. We had two very good barbecues.
Sunday we just chilled on the beach. The thing I don't like by swimming in the sea is that you always have to look if a jellyfish is near you.
Thorvald and I were paddling back to the cabin. I felt it in the shoulders afterwards ;-)
Woohoo, waterfight :-)
Sunday evening we drove to Ursholmen. It's an island in the south of Koster and on it is the westernmost lighthouse of Sweden.
On Ursholmen
This is the whole island..
We wanted to watch the sunset, but we had to wait 2 hours, so we took some nice pictures.
The Koster gang: Nina, Tormod, Harald, Jessica, Anne, Thorvald. Anne Marit and Emely were somewhere else ;-)
31 days left.. Wooaah, the time is running away!
See you!

Parties!!!
Oh my god! This week was crazy. The end of the Russ-time, 17th May (Norway's national holiday), party in the cabin from Knut andandand..
But first I have to mention that I just have 41 days left here in Norway. I can't believe that, it's so little.. I'm looking forward to the last weeks and I'm really going to miss you, Norway!
After I wrote my last post I went to listen to Thorvald's choir. They had a concert in the fortress. It's not that kind of music young people (including me) are listening to normally and therefor I was the youngest spectator there. But it was quite good.
On Monday I was on a AFS meeting. It was a meeting not just for the exchange students who are here in Norway, but also for the students who are going to go on an exchange year this summer. We (the students from abroad) should give some advices to the others. AFS informed us also about the canoe trip we're going to go on 2nd and 3rd June.
This week was really a lot of action going on. Tuesday, Wednesday I was out with the Russ. On Tuesday night I came home 1:45 am and I had PE the next morning 8 o'clock. Yes, I was tired like shit :-) Wednesday was 16th May. Everybody said to me that this day is absolutely the biggest party day of the year. So, of course I was looking forward to it, but it wasn't that much going on in the city because most of the Russ were to tired from partying before.
The day after 16th May is...? 17th May! Here in Norway also called as Christmas, Easter and every birthday together or simply national holiday. The day began with a Russ-breakfast in our house. Then I suit up and met Karolina on the way to the city. All the students from every school in the city were going to meet at a place where the procession would start. 10 o'clock we started to walk through the city to Torget, a central square. Some people had speeches and stuff there. But I was going to meet Anne, Jessica, Nina, Harald and Tormod in a cafe and we ate a piece of cake. Thorvald was not there because as a school principal he had to be at his school in Fredrikstad. 1:00 pm the Russ parade started. Every Russ car had a topic like local political stuff or something like that, played music and threw the rest of the Russ cards to the children. After that we went home and ate a typical 17th May meal: sausages. I was so tired after eating because of partying the evening before that I slept 3 and a half hours at the afternoon. In the evening didn't happen really much.
On Friday I didn't have school. So, I just went to the fitnesscenter and in the evening I was going to drive with some friends to the cabin from Knut. We were ca. 10 people and had a really nice party there. This cabin is just amazing. They have a privat beach, a big garden with table tennis, grill and canvas chairs and the house really nice too.
Yesterday I was at Daniel's place with Karolina, Maria and Kristoffer and watched the Championsleague Final. I still can't believe that Bayern Munich lost.
In Norway they have some "flag days". It means that you should hang out the Norwegian flag if you have one (and trust me, everyone has one). Some days which are just a little important are called "half-flag days". The picture was taken on such a day but I forgot the reason why it was a half-flag day.
Thorvald's choir in a hall in the fortress
The quay in Halden
This pizza is my absolutely favourite one. In the pizzeria "Campino" here in Halden you can get this pizza with chips and kebab meat.
AFS meeting
Eating cake on 17th May. The dress which Jessica and Anne are wearing is called bunad, the Norwegian dress.
Tormod and Harald
Almost everybody had a little Norwegian flag and the 17th May bow on the dress.
Russ parade
Every Russ car had a name. They were the faceboobs. Some other names were: Beercraft (the car from Anne Marit), Need for Sprit, Pringirls, Pacvan, Me Brysta, 6 Stjernes Fylla etc. The Russ group from Anne Marit thought about calling there car SilVan. That would've been very cool ;-)
17th May meal
The cabin from Knut with..
..a privat beach :-)
Beerpong with Karolina, Daniel, Espen, Eirik, Maria, Katrine, Knut and Diamanta.
Saturday morning: Let's make a message in a bottle. Eirik, Katrine and Knut.
Finally I finished this biiiig post. Hopefully I didn't make to many mistakes ;-)

Normal life
Sorry for ten days no post! I had problems with my blog. I deleted me as administrator and I had to write to the AFS office in Switzerland for fixing it. Now I'm administrator again and everything is fine :-)
The Russe-time is going on everyday. People tried to catch me and throw into this little pond up in the fortress. The one time they almost carried me out of school a teacher came and they stopped. Everyday is some party going on and sometimes I'm with them. This weekend most of the Russ are in Tryvann near Oslo, one of the biggest Russ-meeting in Norway.
One day I was in the cinema watching "The Avengers". Go and watch this movie. It's awesome!
This would never happen in Switzerland. I'm at home in a house in the middle of Halden and I can see a deer in the garden!
Maria got the driving license and we had to go on a little roadtrip. This is in Skjeberg, a village near Halden. (with Maria, Karro, André og Knut)
The water is still a little cold, isn't it Karro? :-)
Ahhh.. the sky burns!
The zoom function is quite good on my camera.
Yes, this is my fitnesscenter. I'm there 3-4 times a week. I really enjoy it to work out there and the best thing after a hard work out is the sauna. On the picture below is just one of the three floors with fitness machines. I didn't have the heart to take pictures from the whole building :-P The people watched a little bit strange when I took the pictures.
Most of the time, I work out with Eirik and Knut. Sometimes I go alone. Today I trained the breast muscles and the triceps. I began with a short but very intensive interval running training.
I'm going now to a concert of Thorvald's choir. I'm looking forward to that.

Summer!
Yeaah! It's summer here in Halden. It feels like 25 degrees. I was out on the pier, ate an ice cream and chilled. Yesterday night began the Russe-time and now you can see people in red trousers everywhere.
The red minibus on the picture is the Russe-car of my hostsister. The name of their group is "Beercraft".
All the names of the members in their group are written on the minibus.
Summer! :-)
First time this year we ate outside!
